Visa Application/some travel hints

Some DPR Korea offices abroad want you to fill in this form in advance, before application!

How to apply?
For tourists and for visitors of the Trade Fairs the "host" organizations in Korea will suppport so there will be not much trouble.

Others need a invitation by a Korean institution. Normally one has to send a letter asking for invitation. This has to contain the exact purpose of the travel, you will define "....to develope trade with...to buy....from... to sell..." and so on. Often a description of your enterprise will be asked for. And a copy of your passport.

Arrival: you willl be welcomed by 2 or more persons of the "inviting institution". They organize your trip to the hotel. At least one of them will stay the whole time in tne same hotel, also overnight, ask for the room number!

In very rare cases there is nobody - that's a real problem - because there are no transportation facilies for foreigners without guide! You need the name card or the letter head of your inviting institution and a local officer who telephones for you to them. Or contact EBA Pyongyang by phone, we will help.
